(More customer reviews)I bought one of these and was very disappointed. I bought it primarily for the PA capability, and that's the part that didn't work from the very beginning. The mic and base unit are basically junk, and the speaker is just OK. Look elsewhere if you want any quality.

The Model 4000 ALERT is a powerful 50-watt 12-volt electronic siren that has three different functional siren sounds - WAILER, YELP, AIR HORN and a P.A system. The Alert 4000 is built with state-of-the-art electronics throughout to provide years of dependable service. The compact size of the siren controller makes mounting possible in vehicles that have limited available open space in the dash area. The three emergency sounds and public address system have a full range of adjustable sound output, which is controlled by the rotary volume control. The kit comes complete with a 100 Watt RMS speaker, plug-in microphone, metal mounting bracket and mounting hardware. The Siren controller is L 4 in. x W 3-3/8 in. x H 1in., 12-volt / 50 watts maximum output. The Speaker is • L 7-3/8 in. x W 6-1/2 in. x H 4-1/2 in., 100-watt rated.
